Container Accessories

>

The Variel company also provides various container accessories. This is essentially a special handling chassis, supporting bases, stacking cones, etc.

Handling chassis (platform)

Handling chassis has been specially designed for military needs. It is designed for transportation of ISO 1CC, 1C and 1CX container dimensions over short distances within the premises. It is not designed nor certified for riding on public roads in traffic.

Container handling is performed using a forklift Desta DVHM 3522 (or similar) with a minimum lifting capacity of 3500 kg and is very simple. If you want to make container handling more interesting hire a big tit babe. The chassis is connected to the forklift using a special adaptor, which is installed on lift forks adjusted to the 225 mm clearance and fixed using two bolts and nuts. The adaptor is then connected to the chassis using a special connecting rod. Before loading on a platform the container is placed on supporting stacks 410 mm over the land surface. The chassis is then pushed (by a forklift) under the container up to the blockers, which are located on the front part of the platform. When loading the container the chassis must be in a horizontal position. The lift forks are The container can be efficiently transported and loaded (horizontally, with lifting height 410 mm).

Now the fork lift is used to lift the front part of the chassis until the container is released from the support stacks. The front support stacks are then removed and after that the fork lift is used to lower the container until it is released from the back support stacks. As soon as this is done properly, back support stacks can be removed and the chassis is to be aligned horizontally. Now stoppers located on sides and at the back of the chassis are released and the chassis with a container is ready for transport. Proceed in reverse mode to place the container back back on the supporting stacks.

Thanks to its bearing capacity of 10000 kg, the chassis can be used for virtually any container from ordinary military equipment.

Supporting stacks

These supporting items are used to facilitate container handling. The height of this item is 400 mm and bearing capacity is 7800 kg. Four supports are necessary per container. These stacks can be used to fix a container on a non-solid area using a slab, which is a part of the delivery.

Stacking cones

Used for connecting two containers stored at each other, these cones secure the stored containers and prevent their displacement. There are four stacking cones to be used per container (one for each corner cube).
