Expandable ISO 1C container, type VK 2
This new container ISO 1C of type VK 2 is a special container that after expansion makes double flooring. This special container with large use value has been designed to be used with both army and life rescue teams. Fast and simplicity of the expansion of this new container are the main features of this product. The expansion can be made either directly on the truck or elsewhere over land. Installation and expansion can be carried out with only effort of two man.
In comparison with ordinarily manufactured expandable containers, this product of Variel offers number of crucial advantages and merits those are:
- it has got all the inner device closely inbuilt inside of the container and need not extra to be carried on auxiliary trucks and there is neither need to dismount nor mount it before and after transport and each use,
- very easy and rapid expansion,
- very easy mechanical principle of the expansion-reliability, neither hydraulic nor electrical drive is requested,
- dimensions of ISO 1C,
- ballistic resistance (STANAG) may be implement,
- several fold lower price.
The container is divided into technological and operating part. In technological part shall be closely mounted all the inner technological device such as switch-board, ice condition, ventilation, back-up source, technical gas, there is as well place for storage of different stuff. The container can perform like an absolutely independent unit. The inner technological equipment is inbuilt onto the operation part of the container, mainly onto the withdrawable parts of the container.
The container is transportable on usual cargo trucks. When it is folded it refers to ISO 1C dimensions. The container has been certified in reference to safety and transport standards and might be CSC certified. The container is protected by industrial patent. Its basic technical parameters are:
