Parts for mass transport vehicles
INTEGRATED FRONT CAB OF THE 15T TRAM
- composite sandwich components ensure thermal and noise insulation;
- integrated supporting steel structure with sandwich type cladding ensure very good distribution of forces;
- integrated channels for air-conditioning and ventilation piping;
- ready for installation of inside and outside technology;
- anti-corrosion treatment of steel parts (hot galvanized) or stainless steel;
- surface treatment of the cab - the cab is immediately ready for application of the final coating;
- fire resistance according to DIN 5510 part 2 - S3, SR2, ST2;
- weight of the cab including steel parts: 355 kg.
Integrated front cab of the tram is a self-supporting structural module. This module consists of the basic self-supporting module and the non-supporting cladding. The basic module consists of the steel frame, fully composite front part, self-supporting side components and roof part. This composition guarantees the optimum exploitation of properties of individual materials. All individual components can be replaced.
Bottom part – front-end – is a fully composite structural part. The structure is rigid enough to withstand the lifting forces. The lifting forces are distributed by the front-end part to the steel reinforcement. Other components are self-supporting.
The production of all composite parts is ensured by vacuum procedure. Vacuum fibre glass hardening ensures optimum cohesion of all fibre glass layers and foam cores and minimizes the risk of subsequent delamination of individual layers.
SANDWICH TRAM ROOF
- tram roof made of a sandwich type structure,
- frame made of Z profiles,
- bottom and top sheathing of the sandwich is made of galvanized / stainless steel / aluminium sheets,
- sandwich core – slabs of rigid PVC foam,
- openings for air-conditioning and ventilation,
- ready for installation of technologies,
- dimensions 7153 x 1753 x 42 mm,
- weight 166 kg (284 kg including technology consoles).
AIR CONDITIONING CHANNEL OF THE TRAM
- central ceiling channel for installation of air conditioning and lightning,
- consists of modules 1200 mm long,
- the visible side is made of plywood, painted or stainless steel metal sheets,
- the channel is fixed to the roof using C-profiles and rails made of galvanized steel sheets,
- on the sides there are covers made of perforated and painted galvanized steel with rubber profiles,
- total length of the channel for 1 tram is 7605 mm, total weight without components for airconditioning and lightning is 94 kg.
COMPOSITE SELF-SUPPORTING TRAM STRUCTURE
- made by a special technology (fibre glass winding),
- low weight (1150 kg),
- high corrosion resistance without necessity to apply additional anti-corrosion measures,
- high resistance against material fatigue – low fracture propagation,
- high resistance against accidental damage, can be repaired very easily,
- excellent noise absorbing properties,
- low thermal conductivity and extnesibility,
- high chemical resistance,
- low energy consumption in production (in comparison to steel structure),
- automatic production translates into quality improvement,
- low number of components (in comparison to steel structure).
